Which accounts this covers
This page is for the MoneySarathi apps and websites run by TRB Fintech Private Limited: customer accounts (the MoneySarathi app and my.moneysarathi.com) and partner accounts (the MoneySarathi partner app and partner.moneysarathi.com).
Delete your account yourself
You can close your account at any time, from the app or the website:
- Customers: sign in, open My account, then Security, and choose Delete my account. Type DELETE to confirm.
- Partners: sign in, open Profile, then Security, and choose Delete account. Type DELETE to confirm, and your password too if you set one. If you have ₹500 or more in your wallet, a withdrawal still being processed, or active sub-partners, you will be asked to settle those first.
The account is closed at once and you are signed out on every device. You will see a confirmation on screen.
If you can't sign in
Email sarvesh@moneysarathi.com or WhatsApp +91 91255 02600 from the mobile number or email on your account, saying you want it deleted. We check that the request comes from you and then close the account.
What happens when you delete your account
- You can no longer sign in, and every device is signed out.
- Your profile, applications, courses and messages are no longer shown to you or to anyone else.
- We stop sending you messages, offers and updates.
- A partner's links stop working, and they no longer earn on new applications.
- Applications you already made have been shared with the lender, who keeps their own copy under their own policy.
What we keep, and why
We do not erase your records when you close your account. The account is kept in a closed state that nobody sees and that is not used to contact you, only to meet our legal, tax and regulatory duties, settle disputes and prevent fraud. This includes:
- your account details (name, mobile number, email);
- applications you made or submitted, and what happened to them;
- payments, commissions, payouts and invoices, kept for at least 8 years under Indian tax law;
- KYC documents and bank details, as long as the law requires;
- course enrolments and certificates, and support conversations.
You can ask us to erase specific personal data that we are not required by law to keep, by writing to sarvesh@moneysarathi.com. See our privacy policy for your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Changed your mind?
Because nothing is erased, we can open your account again if you ask us from the mobile number or email on it. Write to sarvesh@moneysarathi.com or call +91 91255 02600.
